- I'm cofounder and Editor-in-chief of Ukrainian citizen reporters web-site Highway (H.ua), a project to let every Ukrainian publish articles, pictures, stories and poetry online.
Highway web-site was launched on 5 August 2005. It can be called the first Web 2.0 startup in Ukraine. Web-site came as an independent business project and didn't rely on state support or grant financing.
Nowadays Highway belongs to TOP-15 Ukrainian Internet media and recently received investments from Ukrainian Media Holding.
In 2007 I graduated from T.Shevchenko Ukrainian National University, Institute of International Relations and received Specialist degree in the field of International information.
I'm an author of blog about Citizen journalism http://danylenko.com.
I used to participate in the following events:
March 2007 "Blogs, Citizen journalism and New media", Moscow, Russia.
June 2007 OhMyNews International Citizen Reporters' Forum, Seoul, Korea.
October 2007 European bloggers conference organized by EJC as a part of PICNIC'07 event, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
November 2007 conducted a training on citizen journalism in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
December 2007 conducted training on New media for NGO as a part of UCAN project, Kyiv, Ukraine.
